As an endocrinologist with over 20 years of experience, I am excited to share some information about myself, Stella Ilyayeva, MD. My passion for endocrinology stems from my personal experience with family members who have suffered from diabetes. This inspired me to pursue a career in this field and help others who are dealing with similar health issues.
I am currently affiliated with NYU Langone Health as a clinical assistant professor and worked at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center for over 20 years, where I served as the Program Director for the Endocrine Department. I specialize in treating adults with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic bone disease. My goal is to provide personalized care to each of my patients and help them achieve optimal health.
I am board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, and Internal Medicine. I am also an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at NYU Long Island School of Medicine. I have published several articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented my research at national and international conferences. I am committed to staying up to date with the latest advances in endocrinology and providing the best possible care to my patients.
